Who might Jamie Lynn Spears have turned to when she found out she was with child?
There's new fiancé and father of the child Casey Aldridge, but two nervous teens whose lives are about to enter the unknown don't make for the best support system. There's always Jamie Lynn's parents, right? Except they've got problems of their own: namely, her older sister Britney, who demands constant attention and worrying. And then, of course, there are the prying eyes of the media, who began an hourly lookout for her baby bump once the rumors began circulating.
Minus the tabloid covers, things are sort of like that for Amy on ABC Family's new original series The Secret Life of the American Teenager. A quick fling at band camp has her in a family way. Rather than tell her parents – who are so distracted by their marital woes, they don't even notice the trouble going on with Amy – she turns to her friends. And this is high school, after all. Which might mean there aren't any photographers following her around, but gossipy hallways can be just as brutal and traumatizing for a teenager.
Follow Amy's travails Tuesdays this summer on The Secret Life of the American Teenager, premiering July 1 at 8pm on ABC Family. Watch a clip of the show below.

If there's a quick way to kick off the weekend, it's with a Midori Illusion Shaker. This no-nonsense, single-serving recipe means you don't have share, but we'd recommend it.
2oz Midori
1/2 Triple Sec
1/2 Vodka
1oz Lemon Juice
Top off with Pineapple Juice
Then give it a shake, and serve.

ZOMG it's hot outside. No, like ridiculously hot. We're indoors, with the air conditioning bumping. One might even call it pleasant. But we are not going outside anytime soon. At least not while the sun is shining. So we're staying indoors … with a very good friend. His name is Midori, and he invited his friend Lemonade to the party. And we're gonna mix and mingle, and here's how we're gonna do it:
1oz Midori
Topped off with cold lemonade
Poured in in cold glass with ice

Mmmm! Summer is here, and the weekend begins in just one day. You've got your beach reads and trashy magazines. But what to hold in your other hand as you lounge by the pool or stroll down the sand? Let us suggest the Midori Margarita.
It's quite simple to prepare:
1oz Midori
1.5oz Tequila
2oz Sweet & Sour mix
Blend with crushed ice and garnish with a lime slice.
Then serve them to your friends as payment for them letting you stay at their Hamptons pad.
