Besides introducing the glorious Nana Pratt, last night's episode of The Hills also presented two young adults handling a situation in a semi-mature manner with little drama. Lauren and Audrina squashed their very public feud over Justin Bobby when they sat down together and talked about their feelings, ending the conversation in a hug. Unfortunately for us, the argument is far from over, if Audrina's passive-aggressive blog post is any indication.

The entire rant is after the jump, but we'll spoil the ending for you: She sucks at life.

Here We Go

Oh, Jennifer Aniston, no. No no no. Why, after four years, would you even think about opening your mouth to a national publication about the rumored feud between you and Angelina Jolie? This just reeks of desperation and lends entirely too much credibility to the naysayers who claim you're bitter and resentful.

All of this nonsense is the result of Jen "icily" telling the newest issue of Vogue: "What Angelina did was very uncool." This, in light of Angie's recent revelation that she and Jen's ex-husband, Brad Pitt, fell in love during the making of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, contrary to earlier reports that the romance started only after filming.

the bitch is back

Lindsay Lohan's Ugly Betty gig sounds like a sequel to Mean Girls.

The gossip mongers over at Page Six say the actress' appearances have been cut because she and Ugly star America Ferrara simply couldn't stand one another and Lohan was generally just a self-obsessed pain in the ass. To be fair, America can't stand any of those self-obsessed snitches, as evidenced by her recent PR circuit with Blake Lively for Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. But apparently America and Lindsay really did not get along:

With 100% More Kool-Aid!

The View was awesome yet again this morning, thanks partly to Elisabeth waking up on the wrong side of the bed and also because of Whoopi's absence. Poor Barbara Walters had to mediate between Joy and Elisabeth, which was ineffective and led to one of the more intense shouting matches we've seen as of late:

So Pomp Right Now

Can you believe we actually suffered through Paris Hilton's My New BFF last night? And — even crazier than that — we didn't feel the urge to stab ourselves in the eyes? We realized that once you sit through A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila, you can sit through anything.

Anyway, the contestant who makes this show bearable is Onch, a jewelry designer from Hacienda Heights, Calif. Onch's favorite color is rainbow (seriously) and prefers the term "pomp" over "fabulous." Also? Onch is a male.

There hasn't exactly been a whole lot of Oscar buzz surrounding Spike Lee's new World War II film, The Miracle at St. Anna, but if there is and he doesn't get one, he'll know why. Lesson for those who want an Academy Award: don't mess with Clint Eastwood… or, better yet, move to Los Angeles.

Ah, CBS. We were expecting for Big Brother to not air preacher's son Ollie's homophobic rants that were captured on the live feeds — but during last night's episode, the show completely fabricated the entire scene.

Battle Of The Hangers-On

We've come to the conclusions that the Lohan family can't survive without being involved in some sort of public feud. The latest was with America's hero, Anderson Cooper, but this time they're keeping it inside the family and battling father Michael Lohan. Oh boy.

Upon news that Lindsay's girlfriend Samantha Ronson plans to write a tell-all, Michael went into a tirade accusing Sam of using LiLo for fame. Mike's not so self-aware, is he? In response, Lindsay pulled her dad aside and had a mature talk about how his actions hurt her. Just kidding, she went to Access Hollywood to announce that her father is "out of control."

So now it's Samantha's turn, and she unleashed her anger via MySpace, Brooke Hogan-style.

We Obviously Have Different Definitions Of 'Love'

ccicconegma.jpg

Chris Ciccone wrapped up his two-part interview today on Good Morning America with a smile on his face and a new batch of insults for his sister Madonna. For someone who claims to love his sibling, he sure has an interesting way of showing it. And as for hope that the two will reconcile, Chris says that depends on whether Guy Ritchie cleans up his act. Because this rift between Chris and Madonna has nothing to do with this stupid tell-all book that he admits is all about the money.

Good news, everyone! Kanye West has yet another bone to pick with a random victim, but this time he forgot to use his caps lock key. Evidently Harper’s Bazaar misrepresented a piece of artwork in Kanye’s home in a feature on his decorating skills in the September 2007 issue. No, seriously. This was almost a year ago.

Tom Brokaw and Don Imus Smack Talk Themselves Silly

31710.jpg

What’s the difference between bitchy high schoolers and multi-media power players? Just the venue.

Don Imus said some disparaging remarks about Tom Brokaw yesterday, claiming he’s “not the most courageous person I've ever met in my life. … He's not the guy I'd want to be in a foxhole with."

This came in response from to Brokaw telling Seattle Times that Imus "should have been fired." Before all the nappy-headed drama, Brokaw was an Imus regular.

If yesterday we learned that popularity takes more than good looks and money, today we discovered that high school bullshit never ends.
