Now go away forever

Bill O'Reilly is 59-years old today, so let's send warm birthday wishes (because K. Olbermann won't) to the Fox News anchor on his special day. Because really, what's the life expectancy rate for a guy who yells for a living? Talk about blood pressure.

Have a good one Billbo, and may all of your Death to Lefties dreams come true. As our gift to you, but more so our readers, here are the O'Reilly's best-of moments from this year:

We're hearing that Rita Cosby, who was removed from MSNBC show after months and months of not being removed from her MSNBC show, has signed with Inside Edition to play the role of special correspondent. We did not try to confirm this information because we want to see if this post will get Rita to whisper sweet nothings, or sweet confirmation or denial, into our telephone.

This 1981 issue of GQ, featuring courtroom celebrity Peter Cook at age 22 (with Carol Alt), was dug up by Inside Edition in an effort, we firmly believe, to get us to think the same naughty thoughts about Christie Brinkley's skeeze of a husband the same way we're being groomed to think about John McCain.

It's working.

Guess what? Bill O'Reilly has always been an asshole! Even when he was at Inside Edition, screaming at staffers was a fantastic pasttime; now you just see him do it to guests on The O'Reilly Factor.

This video from Inside Edition shows how an Inside Edition anchor hides from his Girls Gone Wild subscription by producing a segment about the nefarious porn company which keeps sending him DVDs he totally didn't request. [BWE] It kind of makes you wonder: Why didn't The Insider's Pat O'Brien blame his alcoholism on a beer company that refused to stop sending him free cases?

Also, Her Crazy Televised Rant Was 'Not Terribly Surprising' To Her Former Sis-In-Law

heather-mills-fur-alleged.JPG

Did you know that Heather Mills had a previous marriage with British billionaire Alfie? And that it ended awkwardly/horribly with Mills fighting tooth and nail for a substantial piece of Alfie's assets just like she's doing right this very second to Paul McCartney?

Well, here's another thing you didn't know about Heather Mills. That whole "I stand on one leg against fur" campaign* she's spearheading? Total sham. Turns out she wore fur once! To a wedding.

And what's more, she apparently "loved" it.

redeyeglasses3.JPG

Thanks to a helpful tip from the Inside Edition marketing team, we were privy to this excerpt from an incoming sit-down with everyone's favorite red-glasses wearing former talk show host.

"One of my finest moments was always that I was able to fool the paparazzi and get to my daughter's funeral in disguise without them knowing it was me," legendary talk show host Sally Jessy Raphael tells Inside Edition regarding her daughter Allison's death in 1992.

Neat! Meanwhile, a veritable lowlight for Sally occurred approximately fifteen years later, when she accidentally referred to her daughter's funeral as "one of [her] finest moments."

Deborah Norville Just Found You Your Next Job

deborah-norville-ie-sm.JPG

Remember Deborah Norville? Of course you do! She's the former host of the Today show, who now earns her paychecks anchoring highly reputed trainwreck Inside Edition.

But things weren't always so copacetic. In fact, Norville recalls, when she took over for Jane Pauley (on the Today show) in 1990, nobody liked her at all! But that didn't stop her journalistic superiority from showing through.

"During that debacle, as awful as the press was, I won an Emmy," Norville says. "They give Emmys to people who do outstanding work."

Just keep telling yourself that, Norville! Anyways, being that she's now a success story (of sorts) the former morning show fixture has some advice for her own Today show successor.

Just how is Paris Hilton coping with her detainment? Um, who cares.

Where our hearts lie is with the tabloid press, who, at the same time, have both a news hole (Paris isn't out partying!) and a news field day (Paris is in prison!). With the heiress checking herself into jail not even 48 hours ago, it's time to check in with our tabloid TV pals to see what they're working on.

Inside Edition: "Paris Hilton may be facing a serious threat at the Lynwood Correction Facility where she is currently serving her 45-day sentence for violating her probation. The women’s prison is rife with staph infection, with over 402 inmates diagnosed with the serious infection last year alone."

Oh good, we knew there'd be scraps!

polygraph.jpg

Whatever the results are of Inside Edition's polygraph test with supposed Anna Nicole Smith baby daddy Frederick von Anhalt, they're probably worth ignoring.

That's because IE has enlisted the help of Edward I. Gelb, a lie detector test administer who has the folks at AntiPolygraph.org – a non-profit org aimed at exposing the loopholes in polygraphing – riled up. Though Gelb has appeared on Entertainment Tonight, Geraldo Rivera Live, and Larry King Live, it's arguable he did so under false pretenses.

Something about Gelb claiming to be a Ph.D. but not sharing which institution actually accredited him or answer questions about it. As if the Anna Nicole saga needs another personality to disbelieve.

Frederick%20von%20Anhalt.jpg

Because Larry Birkhead's Anna Nicole Smith saga ceases to end, so too will that of Frederick von Anhalt, better known as Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband, who claims to have had an affair with Smith and may also be the father of baby Dannielynn.

Cue Inside Edition, hopeful to get in on the ratings fun The Insider and Entertainment Tonight have enjoyed (and paid for). We hear IE strapped down von Anhalt to a polygraph test on Friday at 2pm — a time frame agreed upon so he could keep a lunch date with the wife, says a source.

Meanwhile, an insider claims Zsa Zsa has no idea her husband submitted to a lie detector test. But when the results are announced on Tuesday's show, perhaps Frederick will have the decency to invite her to tune in.

Things are looking up – way up – for Donna Dees, the ousted chief publicist for Mort Zuckerman, who lost her job in August. Depending on who you ask, Dees was either let go as part of a slate cleaning of anyone hired under former Daily News chief Les Goodstein, or she could never get Zuckerman decent play in the New York Times, which is all he cared about.

But now we hear Dees has landed firmly on her feet: As of Monday, she's the new director of communications for Inside Edition. We're told it took only one quick chat – two weeks ago – with Deborah Norville for IE to offer her the gig.

Which should be familiar territory, as it also took only one quick chat for Zuckerman to dismiss her.
