If you’re a Knicks fan, this season has been depressing, and if you’re a Knicks reporter, this Isiah Thomas-Madison Square Garden regime has been repressing.
Yesterday afternoon, MSG security gardens got physical with Knicks beat reporters when they tried to speak with an ejected fan. CONTINUED »
After an ugly loss last night to the Dallas Mavericks, the Knicks have fallen to an unimpressive 6-14 record, a season low that puts them in a full 8 games below .500. And while many hold coach Isiah Thomas responsible, Thomas has a competing theory: It's all your fault.
The Knicks’ first nationally televised game in years turned into a nationally televised humiliation — a 104-59 rout that served as a striking indictment of the Knicks’ resolve. They appeared to be playing near one another, as opposed to with one another. The scale of their defeat calls into question whether players are either turning on Thomas or perhaps on one another. They all dismissed the idea, but Thomas blasted his players for playing “extremely selfish.”
With seconds to go, the Knicks had 56 points, 2 points shy of the franchise-record low score. They avoided that ignominy when Nate Robinson swished a 37-footer at the final buzzer. The 45-point defeat was the Knicks’ worst in nearly 27 years, since a 131-86 loss at Indiana on Feb. 20, 1980, and tied that game for the third worst loss in franchise history. The Celtics showed some mercy in the final minute, at one point dribbling out the 24-second clock.

• Breaking! Brad Pitt to stop doing nude scenes and start making crappy family-friendly films a la Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. And while he's at it, he's also going to offend Jack Nicholson, Clint Eastwood and Meryl Streep by insisting that acting is a "younger person's game."
• "A meeting held at Madison Square Garden Wednesday between New York Knicks ownership and head coach Isiah Thomas was interrupted more than half a dozen times by 'Fire Isiah' chants which came at various points throughout the two-hour-long discussion, Knicks officials reported." Okay, fine, so that didn't really happen. But we're thinking it's just a matter of time.
• The most objectively attractive male contestant on Project Runway receives the honor of dressing Tiki Barber. In semi-related news, this is officially the happiest moment of his life since the day he got cheekbone implants.

For all the boys who grow up dreaming of playing for the New York Knicks, there’s a smaller, dorkier contingent of basketball fans who dream of covering the Knicks. And like so many fantasies, this one is better left unrealized.
According to The Observer, the Knicks beat is one of the worst jobs in journalism. (We would have gone with Iraq, but what we do know?) And it’s not just that the Knicks are bad, which they are, it’s that the Knicks organization and the Madison Square Garden are neurotic, micomanagers.

A former employee of The Price Is Right is suing Bob Barker and CBS for wrongful demotion.
After testifying in a wrongful discrimination suit against Barker, Deborah Curling claims she was moved to an “intolerable” working environment back stage.
Hello, what could be intolerable about watching hundreds of people live their dreams by guessing the price of a can of SpaghettiO’s?
Curling, who is black, also claims that the show was hostile to black employees and discriminatory to black contestants.
According to the lawsuit, "Barker created an atmosphere of terror on the show.”
Look, it’s in the rules of The Price Is Right that if your bid is over the retail price, you lose.
Despite misogynist Isiah Thomas' recent sort-of conviction in that gender discrimination suit, it appears that chivalry is not dead in the land of professional basketball. NBA all-star Allen Iverson reportedly came to the aide of two women whose car had flipped over in the median in his hometown of Hampton, VA last weekend.
The victims, grateful their prayers and cries for help had finally been answered, quickly called out to their rescuer.
“One of them looked up and said, ‘Oh, my God, are you Allen Iverson?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, but don’t worry about that. We’re trying to get you all out and make sure you’re all right.’ ” [Stereohyped]

In a surprising turn of events, Hillary Clinton earns top rankings in New York City's most recent "Best-Dressed" list. The MILF edged out Knicks' coach Isiah Thomas, "female-first" homemaker Martha Stewart, and the birthday girl, Katie Couric herself.
Also crackingthe top ten were rapper Mos Def, Ivanka Trump, Andrew Giuliani, Charlie Rangel, Rachael Ray and Jon Stewart. Mariah Carey lead the way in the worst-dressed category, followed closely by Mayor Bloomberg, Headth Ledger and Michelle Williams, Mario Batali, Lil' Kim and Lindsay Lohan.
But far more interesting than the actual winners (and losers) was the reasoning behind the decision-making process. Check out this sampling, below:
KATIE COURIC: She may not be everyone's favorite correspondent but Couric sure can dress…
IVANKA: Little Miss Trumpshine is everywhere these days, from the parties at the Met to the pages of Stuff. But whether she's buttoned up or bosomed out, she manages to look fab.
MARIAH CAREY: Someone stole the belly off of every single outfit in her wardrobe!
MARIO BATALI: Love the man and his food dearly, but after a decade of shorts, vests and plastic sandals - with socks! - Batali's party-king uniform is wearing thin, just like that pony tail.
Not sure we agree with some of the top-picks, but definitely approved of the bottom-feeders. Way to go, Daily Snooze! Here's to hoping the fashionably-challenged will take this piece as a wake-up call!

Isiah Thomas is in a bit of hot water this morning. The legendary basketball star and Knicks president was slapped with lawsuit last night from Anucha Browne Sanders, the team's former senior vice president of marketing.
She claims that she has been harassed by Thomas, and filed papers against him in Manhattan Federal Court stating that he called her a "bitch" and (we're sure this is toning it down about 1,000 percent) "asked her to have sex."
Allegedly, Thomas' debaucles don't end there. He's being accused of cutting deals with hotel concierges to encourage out-of-town players to get plastered at bars and strip clubs the night before day games.
Thomas retaliates by claiming Browne Sanders has been trying to get $6 million from Madison Square Garden, and this suit is an attempt to rake some of that cash in. Hey, when all else fails, file a sexual harassment suit against a black man, right?
If only the West Side Stadium had been built. With all those strip clubs nearby, the Giants could be in the Super Bowl right now.
