Ever heard of Sam Bernett? Of course you haven't! But Bernett claims to have been a close, personal friend of Jim Morrison's, and—as such—says he knows the truth about the Doors frontman's death.

Lucky for us, Morrison's old buddy is not only ready to tell all (thanks, in no small part, to a sweet book deal) but is also quick to debunk that whole "Died of Natural Causes in the Bathtub" myth.

Yep, according to Bernett (a.k.a. Jim's former bestie) Morrison actually sustained a massive heroin overdose at the Rock 'n' Roll Circus, however his body was subsequently moved to his apartment as part of an elaborate drug cover-up.

And Bernett isn't shy about the gruesome details.
