After John Edwards raised a stink about Hillary Clinton accepting donations from Rupert Murdoch and News Corp. – demanding the senator and any other Democrat return donations from the right-slanting news outfit – the New York Post is only too happy to point out that Edwards has some of Rupert's money lining his own bank balance. For the presidential hopeful's 2006 book Home: The Blueprints of Our Lives, published by HarperCollins, Edwards received a total of $800,000 ($500k advance, $300k expenses), though he has no plans to return any of that money.

That cash, after all, was earned through the hard work of putting pen to paper, whereas Hillary's credentials stem merely from making a political bed with Rupert.
