Of course they don't let you keep the plane, or in this case, your personal Dassult Falcon 900 private jet. Sorry, it just sort of looks bad when the CEOs of companies come begging for government handouts while getting to keep their jumbo jets.
Other things the head honchos of Citibank might have to give up shortly include their girls on the side, who they'll no longer be able to keep in the style these ladies are accustomed to. Or any of those nice corporate persk, like skimming from the top, staying at 8-star hotels in Dubai, and getting away with murder (of the economy).
Big Three corporate, take heed: If GM's grounded flights and Ford CEO Alan Mulally are any example, you and your little planes are next.
Don't take this video too seriously you guys, it's not an official Diddy blog. He just wants to respond to some criticisms and "investigations" made over the Internet, while sitting in what appears to be his mother's guest bedroom.
The "jet controversy" Diddy refers to, incidentally, is the one he himself created when he made a "tongue-in-cheek" (hamfisted) video complaining about the rising cost of airplane fuel, which kept his private jet grounded. Then it turned out he didn't even own his own aircraft, but relied on the poorman's means of private air travel: fractional ownership via Netjets. CONTINUED »
