Sinbad
Derelicts Live Up To Expectations

Sinbad, OJ Simpson and Dionne Warwick are on the California Franchise Tax Boards list of delinquent tax payers.

Hopefully the California Franchise Tax Board has also levied some fee on Sinbad for his role in the 1996 monstrosity First Kid.

Sinbad: <s>Gone, But Not Forgotten</s> Alive, But Often Overlooked

For the last week or so, rumors have been circulating on the internet that actor/comedian Sinbad (real name David Adkins) had moved onto that stand-up comedy club in the sky. Thankfully, however, he's alive and well, although we can't say the same about his career. (ZING!)

From Wikipedia, the cause of—and solution to—all of life's problems:

On 10 March 2007, Sinbad's managers started receiving phone calls of condolence, after people began hearing unsubstantiated rumors of Sinbad's death.[14] Hundreds of people contacted his managers and production studio, including Lionel Richie.[14]

This rumor spread to the online encyclopedia Wikipedia on 15 March 2007, when his biography was edited to include the claim of his death. The incorrect information was soon removed, but a fan spreading the initial rumor included a link to the old (and incorrect) revision of the article.[15]

Sinbad joked the situation off, commenting that, "I wish that people would've called me back like this when I was alive. I gotta die more often. I'm writing a movie about this now… Seriously, my death is gonna be my comeback."[14]

We love that the star of Houseguest and Jingle All The Way actually has a sense of humor. (Who knew??) After the jump, Sinbad's publicist's official declaration that her client is, in fact, alive, well and available for bookings.
