Way to go Staten Island and public education. You really did your stereotypes proud.
Lawrence Siegel, a retired assistant principle at Rocco Laurie Intermediate School in Staten Island got "rubdowns" from a 12 year-old female student last spring. The 56 year-old then offered to pay for private school to keep this whole thing on the QT.
Best of all, this incident probably won't affect this guy's pension and he was making $102K when he stepped down. That's not the kicker, it's the facts.
This week the NYPD arrested two white men in the beating of a black Staten Island resident. In a press conference yesterday outside of Staten Island University Hospital, Al Sharpton said, "We cannot live in a city, state or nation where people cannot safely be in the streets or anywhere else because of the color of their skin.”
Wow, Al Sharpton will even go to Staten Island for a press conference.
• Staten Island zookepers already busy "grooming" the groundhog, to ensure that results from his upcoming weather report are not skewed.
• Brooklyn boy accuses his principal of nerd discrimination after she denies him the opportunity to compete in a regional spelling bee.
• Guy saves woman from jumping in front of the J train, demands $10,000 and a free trip to Disney World.
• NYC clubs to introduce wall-mounted flat irons in their restrooms, the bathroom line at Bungalow 8 to become "even more intolerable."
• Coney Island to house $56 million YMCA instead of really, really old amusement park rides.
