Sarah Palin's Katie Couric Blunders: Explained! (By Sarah Palin)
It was just so gosh darn annoying!

Finally, Sarah Palin will have to answer questions about her disastrous interview with Katie Couric. Except whoops, she's doing it on Fox News, and the big revelation is that she seemed flustered and ill-prepared because she was annoyed that Katie wasn't asking the right questions. The questions the American People wanted to hear!

Watch after the jump, and decide for yourself if this is what you've been waiting for a politician to say all your life:

Debates Recap: It's Your Party Joe
Cry if you want to

So the debates last night! So good! Everyone got wasted because Sarah Palin overused "maverick" and then got called out on it by Biden at the end there. Shit, if that woman was any more colloquial she'd be the mom from

McCain Releases Biden Smear Ad At 11th Hour Before Debates

So John McCain waited until the last plausible second before the vice presidential debates tonight to release a video attacking Joe Biden for his tendency to goof when under pressure. Clever political move, or shooting yourself in the foot by drawing more attention to your own gaffe-prone contender?

Below, the ad and a point/counterpoint discussion:

Drinking Games for the Debates
So fun you'll black out

Perhaps the best of any presidential debate/State of the Union/political speech is the great fun in creating drinking games for the appropriate speakers. In college, ever time George Bush would smirk, everyone would take a drink. Every time he stuttered, another drink. And terrorism mention warranted a shot of whiskey.

So in preparation for the debates tonight, a lot of blogs have begun formulating their pre-fab list to getting shitfaced when Sarah Palin and Joe Biden take the stage.

Comedy Central's Indecision 2008 has perhaps the best rule yet:

Every time Palin speaks in a run-on sentence, get yourself for into the position of being to drink a sip of beer and therefore on the chair on which you sit turn around and face your neighbor but you will not have had enough into which to vomit and that's good because you will be feeling in a way that is comparable to ways in which you have drunk before, at home, where they teach good drinking values.

We have a couple of suggestions ourselves:

Being Mean to Sarah Palin is Great for Ratings
Win/Win Situation

Another reason that the VP debates tonight are going to be a bloodbath: The tougher anchors and networks are to Sarah Palin, the better their ratings. Charlie Gibson's 20/20 special when the former beauty queen couldn't tell him about the Bush Doctrine snagged him the #1 slot, Katie Couric's oft-repeated trainwreck with the candidate has made national headlines and won the anchor a place back in the nations heart, and Tina Fey's impression of the Alaskan native has been viewed over 4.5 million times in two weeks.

As for the positive coverage of Palin, welp…try to think of some off the top of your head, and you'll be more stuck than Sarah when she was asked to name a Supreme Court decision that she disagreed with.
