TGIF
the week the year ended and democracy took place

barackobanacigarettcopyph6.jpg

Every week, there are so many eventful developments that we almost can’t keep track of them all. So for your convenience and ours, we’ve dispatched Intern Whitney to remind us what made the past week special.

Obama and Huckabee won the Iowa primary in the election that has carried on for far too long already.

• We think Britney hit rock bottom. We can't imagine how much lower she can go.

• Late night returned with fanfare and controversy.

• Tila Tequila announced she will somehow find the courage to continue on in her quest for love during Season 2 of her "reality" show.

• We reflected on what made 2007 kind of lame.

• And gave suggestions on what to do in celebration of 2008.

• CBS came out victorious in the Patriots vs. Giants showdown.

• We fell in love with the crazy butter lady.

Local happenings encouraged our parents to include mace in our next care package.

Why show an old photo of Obama smoking?
Mr Obama had stopped smoking months ago, is this an attempt to cause controversy?

Regarding Will Smith: PageSix/New York Post/WNN had apologized to Will for publishing a misleading story. See Below:
    —————————————
A big entertainment news service is beating itself up after it helped spread that whole misconstrued Will Smith-as-Hitler-apologist mishegas.

The World Entertainment News Network issued a formal apology to Smith, saying that the "erroneous and dangerous statement attributed to Will Smith about Adolph HItler being a 'good person' … was false and misleading." WENN says it takes "full responsibility for the dissemination" of the story and offers Will "a sincere apology" and deeply regrets "the personal stress" caused.

WENN had picked up the misrepresented quote from a Scottish paper, which has yet to retract its story.

I am not surprised that they used an old photo.
Jossip has usually taken an anti Black stance.

Look back through all of Jossip's postings and you will see a strong anti African American, anti minorities choice of photos and captions.
