The Circuit Editor-in-Chief Amanda Lorber Might One Day Run a Big Paper, Like the Washington Square News

Did The Paper's token treacle, Amanda Lorber, decline to reveal in a newspaper interview where she was attending school this fall because it'll actually be part of an upcoming episode? (You know, the one where all the upper echelon students compete for those one or two spots available to each school, and backstab each other while offering false congratulations when they find out their friends were accepted to their own dream school.) Maybe. But now it's been revealed Lorber is heading to the big city, attending NYU this fall and majoring in, what else, journalism. [NYO] She told the school's Washington Square News that she hopes "to be kind of a normal student, not a girl that was on an MTV reality show." Aww, sweetie, what a nice sentiment! And don't worry, because with every NYU student lobbying to be more than Facebook famous, you'll soon be just another nameless face in a sea of the socially awkward.
