The Gossip Class is Clamoring For Tucker Carlson's Exit, Once Again

tucker5.jpg Are Tucker Carlson's days at MSNBC numbered? Rumors of his demise have been circulating for months years. At the time, those reports were "accurate": Carlson was supposed to be removed from the network. But then he volunteered to take a pay cut (reportedly slicing his salary in half) to stay on the air. Now we're hearing rumblings that plans are being made inside 30 Rock to swap him out at 6pm for a new project. No word yet on who would, theoretically, replace him, or whether Tucker would be asked to leave the NBC News campus entirely. As for timeline? It's been said that two weeks ago, Tucker's fill-in was to have taken over already, so it's unclear whether MSNBC's decision has been solidified, or whether brass still has a few more Ts to cross. Or whether Tucker is entirely safe!

I think we can all assume that his replacement will not be David Shuster. . .

Tucker and Chris Matthews are the best thing about MSNBC. Keith Olbermann is a pompous arse!

No, say it isn't so.
Rachael Maddow has become an MSNBC favorite.
But she can be overbearing. An hour of her may be too much.

I love Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow! It would be great to have them back to back. Can't stand Tucker so I won't miss him at all.

Tucker is the only cable news hour I faithfully watch anymore. Though a Libertarian, Tucker was almost always fairer than his liberal brethren at MSNBC. With Tucker out, I'm going back to CNN.

Whoooooooo….so good to see Tucker Gone…He's certainly a fellah who got his program through his daddy's influence…and it shows.

Tucker…what's his game? Where's his expertise?

Bye…hope that Rachel Maddow takes your place. Can't wait to see an intelligent woman on her own show.

Sad news from MSNBC. One less reason to watch them, ever.

"Tucker…what’s his game? Where’s his expertise?"

Tucker gave better commentary on current events than any other talking head out there. He was fair to everyone and usually always played it fair to his guests. I guess that doesn't equal ratings in this unfortunate world where people love a confrontation and a trussed-up idiot babbling on about nothing.

What a pleasure to have that shrill and totally biased voice silenced at MSNBC! Tucker should have been forced into a Scold's Bridle long ago, and I celebrate his forthcoming absence!

Tucker's gone! yeah…can we work on getting rid of Mika in the morning next? Pat Buchanan and Rachel Maddox would be a great replacement

Good riddance to Tucker. Olbermann should be next. Please spare me Rachel Maddow.

Tucker Carlson is a favorite of mine - and Rachel Maddow. Hope she gets her own show and that Tucker finds a home and show on another network.

It's pretty plain to see that the same person made most of these comments. Pretty obvious when every other post mentions the same female anchor. It would be nice if ppl would make 1 comment and leave it at that but some ppl are just so deceptive and so hell-bent at having their say that they can't just post and walk away. The internet blogs are worthless because of phonys like this.

I love Tucker, but would also like to see Mika gone - her constant idle chatter gets on my nerves. Morning Joe would be lots better with Scarborough and Willie Geist. Many other woman would be better, Rachael Maddow to name one.

I LOVE both the presentations and the points of view of Rachel Maddox and Keith Olbermann! They bring such wisdom to the news - and don't get pulled off-track by the absurd thing we laughingly called "news" on most of the other channels! They tackle the issues - how refreshing!
