The Kids Over at Fox News Know Media Bias When They See It
It takes one to know one

Brit Hume is so angry at the liberal media for implying, à la that Politico article yesterday, that just because a news source is admittedly left-leaning doesn't mean that McCain isn't losing.

Because the news is totally objective and if it's not, than it is lying to you! Well, no, there are some grey areas. As the old adage goes, even a broken Bill O'Reilly is right twice a day.

Although, according to Brit Hume's logic, everyone at his own station should lose their jobs:

HUME: I noticed our friends at the Politico are arguing that the reason why McCain is getting bad press is because he is doing badly.

MORT KONDRAKE, EXECUTIVE EDITOR, ROLL CALL: Some of that is true.

HUME: Some of that may be true, but is there any price to be paid for this? A lot of these organs of the main stream media, perhaps for other reasons, are in real trouble.

KONDRACKE: Well, the mainstream media has been fragmenting. The viewership and the readership has been going elsewhere for a very long time. But I don't think it's entirely because of media bias.

But some of it is. People go to talk radio, and they go to FOX News, and they go to conservative blogs because they're unhappy with the news that they get elsewhere. And there's no question that that's happening.

Ah yes, people go to conservative blogs and Fox News because they are trying to get away from media bias. Despite the fact that one of the words in "conservative blogs" happens to be…well, conservative.

And L.O.L. at the idea that its totally the media bias' fault that newspapers and magazines are shutting down left and right. And not, as the logical argument would dictate the lack of ad dollars, the terrible economy, and the emergence of blogs.

Ah, media bias. Every side thinks they are immune to it lol. You pretty much just have to take it with a grain of salt and weed out what you think is a stretch. I actually heard of this new online video site called newsy.com that is trying to combine everything from FOX news to BBC so that us folks fed up with bias can figure out what the real story is. Sounds kinda cool.
