The Most Recent Rumor About Chris Matthews Running For Office
He says no, we say yes

Chris Matthews is right to demure away from any talk about running for Senate against Arlen Specter…until his contract is up next June, Matthews can't very well be a political pundit in the pocket of the Democrats as well as a politician running for office. Even Karl Rove had the decency to wait until he was out of the White House before going on Fox News.

Still, somehow Matthews name always gets thrown around when discussing the Senatorial seat in Pennsylvania that will be up for grabs when Specter's term ends in 2010…so even though the Hardball host keeps saying he has "no plans" in public, you know that's just what media consultant/coworker Dan Abrams tells him is prudent.

Karl Rove + decency = oxymoronic.

Oh, I REALLY, REALLY want him to run - just to see his fat ass handed to him on a platter.

How this sexist blowhard thinks he could garner the votes necessary to win is just a testament to that ego the size of the Goodyear blimp that he has!

There will be MORE than enough soundbites to torpedo this asshole's chances - the Dems know this as well and will tell him to back off!

Either way, America wins - no more Hardball and he doesn't get to go to Washington……boo hoo!
