Norway's Elise Øverland became the go-to designer for rock stars including the White Stripes, Gwen Stefani, Alicia Keys, and Steven Tyler…Øverland describes her s/s '08 line as coming from a "feeling rather than a specific image — the powerful, soul-filled warrior that exists in every time — blood and magic.
More importantly, Anastasia says: While there are some weird pieces, like a dress that looks vaguely vaginal, we’d wear this if we were slightly cooler and a lot richer. If anyone wants to send over some Elise Øverland pieces over, for, like, further journalistic research, that’d be cool with us.
