Word on the Runway:
Always tweaking traditional images, Glemaud's current line of sherbet-colored Bermuda shorts, tight-waisted, loose-legged cotton trousers, and slouchy jackets was beach boy minus the beach bum.
His palette for fall is straight out of a Crayola box, with bright, solid colors like lime green, sunshine yellow, and royal blue popping out among the otherwise neutral old favorites. Glemaud highlights his signature techniques of sumptuously layering fitted cardigans of the same or lightly different hues over longer white shirts, creating a languid, easy look.
Anastasia says: Victor Glemaud is like the love child of Dov Charney and Ralph Lauren—and also, somehow, a box of Cray-Pas. It must have been a crazy night.
