The Three Redeeming Qualities of Kathy Lee

Kathie Lee Gifford has been getting a lot of flack from all sides since she moved to NBC to host the fourth hour of The Today Show. She is shrill and overshares. Other crazy women hate her. She's a ratings killer (the show has dropped 200,000 viewers since she's joined). And now The New York Times is criticizing her because she talks over her guests and co-host, Hoda Kotb. Come on guys, she's not as bad as all that. Here are our three favorite things about the KLG:

1. She looks better in HD then another annoyingly chipper host we could mention.

2. She's never been caught bad-mouthing Dan Rather. Again, like a certain blond anchor we can think of.

3. She turned down a co-host position on The View back in 2007. Good career move; Kathie Lee + Elisabeth Hasselbeck= epilepsy seizures.

I agree with all the comments about KLG. I would add that she over acts, is overly emotional and her ego and self worth is over bloated. I quit watching the show when I found out she was going to be on and haven't looked back simply because there are other people out there who can conduct a decent interview and behave in a civilized and pleasing way. I would say if you want to say something good about KLG it would be that she is controversial and that brings attention. I mean if that is your goal.

Kathie Lee Gifford disgusts me and I will not watch the today show any more. She made a horrible comment today (during a harmless segment on pets-dogs) that has to do with Lesbian Love songs. does she really think her neanderthal views on sexuality are appreciated? Does she think her sense of humor is appreciated? She needs to be retired and taken off the air. There is some young wanna-be that I'm sure is more than capable of replacing that ignorant hag. She is an embarassment to our great country and the fact that we allow equal opportunity to all people no matter their sexual preference. I am not even a lesbian and I find it offensive.

The 10-11 segement as become relly poor. Kathy Lee has tried to overcome the show. She speaks out of term, speaking over Hoda! As far as wardrobe, Kathy Lee's bust are rather large and her clothes are too tight and distasteful (for her age). Hoda's wardrobe is tasteful, nice and clean, simple and well together. I've also noted that K.L. has fun with sexual comments (undertones). Hoda tries to play them down. Hoda Has more class, in my opionion. Plus, K.L is stuck in th '90 with her hair. Cut some it off, maybe a sweeping style above the shoulders. (And K.L, how does your husband feel when you were so impressed with Daniel R.'s wand, which you spoke about so much on national TV?)

I enjoy watching the fourth hour of the today show, however, I feel that Kathy Lee Gifford is overbearing! KL constantly interrupts Hoda, who is very gratious and classy, and seems to handle the constant interruption. It seems that Kathy Lee wants to be the center of attention and constantly comments during interviews. Today I watched Billy Bush and Hoda…it was very refreshing and entertaining!!

I don't know why all the negatives. I like the show because of her and Hoda. I think she's funny. I must be one of the weird ones. I must say I never really cared for her before, but since watching her on the show, I like her.
Cut her some slack people. There are a lot more pressing things in the world that could use your scrutiny.
