The Today Show Continues to Embarrass Itself in Beijing
 

Earlier today, we thought the Today show really embarrassed itself during this food segment about Peking duck. And it's true — they did make asses out of themselves. But there there was their attempt to imitate a Chinese opera singer:

Oh my god. I thought the same thing. I actually changed the channel when they began this segment because I couldn't stop cringing! Will they stop at nothing to make us look like insulting, fat, American assholes? (specifically, I'm speaking of Al Roker, here). Jeeeeesus! This opera thing aside, have you seen his "chinese word of the day" segment? He could not be more condescending, irreverent, insulting and just, frankly, gross. It is an embarassment. People of Beijing…we are all not as insulting as these people!
