Yes, Mel Gibson got a DUI, and yes, he screamed anti-semitic remarks along the lines of "fucking Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world" to police officers who arrested him. Despite published reports that the LAPD are not trying to cover this up, cops tell Hollywood reporter Nikki Finke they made no attempts to hide the remarks.
TMZ asserted that police omitted the remarks from the original report, but Lt. Steve Smith of the Malibu Sherrif's department says cops never tried to keep Gibson's psychoticness out of the press.
"There's no whitewash. I've seen the first report, and the supplemental report, and it looks to be the same thing as what's on the Internet. The contents that are on the Internet are covered in both those reports."
As for Mr. Congeniality, Gibson admits he's struggled with alcohol "throughout his life" and apologizes for his behavior … though he doesn't specifically say he's sorry for the "fucking Jew" remarks. Well, he never apologized for making Passion of the Christ, so we didn't really expect him to apologize this time. Gibson's full statement, pulled from Deadline Hollywood, after the jump.
"After drinking alcohol on Thursday night, I did a number of things that were very wrong and for which I am ashamed. I drove a car when I should not have, and was stopped by the LA County Sheriffs. The arresting officer was just doing his job and I feel fortunate that I was apprehended before I caused injury to any other person. I acted like a person completely out of control when I was arrested, and said things that I do not believe to be true and which are despicable. I am deeply ashamed of everything I said. Also, I take this opportunity to apologize to the deputies involved for my belligerent behavior. They have always been there for me in my community and indeed probably saved me from myself. I disgraced myself and my family with my behavior and for that I am truly sorry. I have battled with the disease of alcoholism for all of my adult life and profoundly regret my horrific relapse. I apologize for any behavior unbecoming of me in my inebriated state and have already taken necessary steps to ensure my return to health.â€
It's a pretty good thing Gibson decided to start producing his own movies … we highly doubt he'll be able to find a single production company willing to back him on a film after this little stint.
Exclusive Official Confirmation! No Cover Up [Nikke Finke, Deadline Hollywood]

Mel Gibson is screwed
lemme get this straight. KKK's, Nazis, Iranians, Arabs, Hezbollah, Arian fanatics, my next door neighbor, Mel Gibson all hate the Jews. What does that tell you?
It means that Mel Gibson will be making a new movie called "The Passion of Jack Daniel's."
Mel Gibson shoulda said this to the arresting officer: "Whooa officer, I'm sorry but I was drinking this Arrowhead water bottle and had no idea that Jesus turned it into wine….."
hahahahahahahahaha…..hey Nimrod…that was funny……water bottle into wine……hahahahahaha
what a filthy disgusting man, I feel sorry for him that he is out of the media and public eye that he has to use anti semticism to get some attention! I hope he drinks himself to death. Filthy piece of no good garbage
fecal stains her fecal stains….anal odor
period spots inside her crotch…armpit odor
urinated markings
crotch odor and a vomit breath
Mel Gibson speaks for all the people. Thanks Mel, God bless you. Dont be sorry for what you told, it is true.
How many in here like the Jews?
Cant we discuss more important matters then the mumblings of a moviestar. Antisemtism is bad, but the killing of innocent woman and children in Lebanon is worse. After the second world war we said never again, but apparently nobody learned anything, even the victims of that time. Its happening all over again in Lebanon. Words can hurt, but bombs kill!

Lot's of throwing stones but aren't we all guilty of something? I think it
Lots of stone throwing but aren't we all guilty of something? I think it's ironic that when OJ was trying to get off everybody bought the idea that the LA police had made up evidence against poor OJ to make it look like he was guilty and lots of people even believed that the police had a hand in the murders. Now suddenly the police are honest and would never make up lies about defendants.
YOu know what you are right Lenora. Why is it that when a white Christian dude says something, he is doomed. Remember these:
1) Jesse Jackson's hymetown comment, nothing happened to him
2) Mayor Nagin's "chocolate comment" oh yeah he got reelected
3)Cindy Sheehan comparing BUsh to Hitler
4) MIchael Moore calling Bush a killer and Hitler
Yea, what about those people? Shit, I am so sick and tired of all these political dumbness that it's ok for one group to say something and yet a white dude saying it, he is screwed.
Ok so who is perfect out there….NO ONE. Only Jesus was the only perfect person. I would not want to trade places with Mel. He is a human being. He made the most outstanding motion picture of all time. People thought about Christ and His love for the first time in their lives.
So if you want to really do something, pray for Mel to be set free from his problems and realize that Satan would like to discredit him big time.
Everybody screws up. I saw the Passion of the Christ. I thought the message there was that man - not Jews has the capacity to really do himself in and screw up, that even the Jews "the blessed nation" of God (and they are) could not even see through this cursed world we live in. It was a pretty disgusting beating in the movie and way too long. Mel is no saint, but I think there is more to the real story than the movie. We all f-up, not one of us is worthy or perfect. But we all clearly see each others mistakes and rub them in each others faces. I don't think Mel ever said he was Jesus Christ. That's the point when he becomes a Looney. Right now he just like most of us saying things we shouldn't and getting drunk then doing stupid things. So what. Lets ruin the guys livelihood for it. No how about we accept his apology and move on. If I had to re-live your worst moment in live over and over again - what is your real point?
And lastly, his movies are some of the best made. Mad Max rocked. Braveheart being perhaps my most favorite. Power and fame corrupt and the news media is just a feeding ground for the wolves, snakes and buzzards.
So he didn't plan to say these like he was doing a speech. He was drunk and those comments was just supposed to be between him and the officer. Why is it like he's committed the cardinal sin ? Do we get crucified now because we say some unkind stuff to another person and people act like it was hitler making a speech. Coooommme on ! Leave Mel alone. The guy was pissed.
Here is a site where you can post support, or whatever for Mel Gibson…

I listened to the news. The comments etc. I have to stand up for Mel Gibson as I have been a fan of his for a long…long time. We his fans, friends, entertainment world etc. knew he had a problem with alcohol. Anyone will tell you that an alcholics are sick, and need help. As a child of an alcholic I know what I'm talking about. And so do a lot of other people. If we were to condemn Mel for saying things when he was under the influence. Then we must also blame ourselves as we should be supporting and forgiving. Jew, Catholic etc. God say forgive..and we have forgotten this..Isnt that what every religion belives or any person. God forgave us, died for us. What is wrong with you all. Help Mel, dont not forgive him. Because not to forgive him, is just as bad as the mistake he made and is trying to apologize for.
Read the following comment this is from the
A careful study of Jewish sources reveals that forgiveness fulfills two distinct roles - one religious, and one personal.
The religious role of forgiveness is that it enables the wrongdoer to achieve atonement for his act. It is a firm doctrine of Jewish belief that God doesn't grant full forgiveness for our sins against our fellow man until we obtain forgiveness directly from the wronged individual.
The personal role of forgiveness is that apology and forgiveness enable the two sides to put the incident behind them, and to restore harmonious relations - "forgive and forget". This personal aspect of forgiveness is perhaps even more important than the religious one.
I think it's sad how mankind is so quick to judge. To try to bring someone down simply for what they might have said. We take God's grace for granted, we sin against Him everyday yet He for gives us! Mel Gibson is no worst than any other man or woman that walks this earth. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23). At least he said what he was feeling at the time, even though he was under the influence of alcohol. Unlike some of us who do and say ungodly things, behind close doors, and get away with it. Big shots in Hollywood were not thinking so bad of him when he brought them one of the biggest block busters of all times. And it was about something positive. Something needed to be known. And Mel Gibson took a chance in bringing it to the screen, and because of this I think , is why he is being judged so unfairly. But I say to Mel and all of us that truly know of God's grace and forgivness through His Son Jesus. Keep in mind what Jesus said in (Luke 12: 4-5). Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him. And to all you self righteous hypocrites that are so guick to judge someone, and not be willing too forgive them. Remember know matter what you may think, God is still in control. And if you can not forgive those who have sin against you, how can you expect to be forgiven of God! And I'll you with this to think on. Martha Stewart commented a crime, and was sentence to time in jail. Well what was called a jail. And when she was released, came out of jail making more money, and is more popular now than she was when she went in! Is what Mel said worst than this? Think about it. Just use this one example and see if you are judging fairly. I'm not saying what he did was right. But I'm saying we all make mistakes!
If he had any balls he'd just admit he's an anti-semite and take his chances on being blackballed by the Jews that run Hollywood.
Hmmmph.
sit on my face and tell me that you love me
i'll sit on your face and tell you i love you too
i love to hear you compromise
when i'm between your thighs
you blow me away
Mel Gibson was clearly and totally wrong for drinking and driving. But that's about it. Anyone who has even a clue about American history and the reason behind why the U.S. got sucked into WW1 & WW2 knows that the Jews (not all of course) were directly responsible. To deny this truth should carry the penalties of doubting the Holocaust. BTW: I'm not referring to the one that killed 20 million Christians in the 1920s, which we never hear about in any of the many media monopolies. Gee, why is that? Could it be due to the fact that American doesn’t, and hasn’t controlled the media corporations for quite sometime? And nobody wants to even talk about it for fear of being labeled an anti-Semite by some PC anti-brainite.
That’s just my opinion for today.
