There's Love in the Air For Obama, and McCain Isn't Gonna Take It

Hmmm, maybe John McCain does get the Internet. After all, on his website, McCain is having supporters vote which of two YouTube-y ads should make it to actual television. But that's not even where the real fun begins, because the two ads squarely attack the media for engaging Obamamania! Oh snapples, it's the McCain Complain Train.
Below, watch media pundits talk about media pundits' love affair with the Democratic candidate.

I must admit that to me it is frightening when supposedly non-biased news casters show such obvious adoration and admiration for a political candidate who has yet to be officially selected by his party to be that presidential candadate. I fail to understand all the "week knees" when anyone listens to Mr. Obama's speeches as i have yet to hear him say anything that explains in detail the how, when, and where of his so called "Changes"….Scarey!! Just who is waving a magic wand to hypmotise the masses into Christ-Like adoration of this untried/untested political wannabe?
That's just about the stupidest thing ever if McCain is going to run that ad. It's an ad FOR Obama. Does it show that journalists are biased and McCain can't get a fair shake, or that Obama is so charismatic that he's electrifying the professional journalists? You really can't tell since McCain only pops up at the end. And the Rolling Stones comment and others that aren't about the media helps to support the latter argument - that Obama is just so much better at connecting than McCain. Same thing with the comments from the primaries, which show why he beat Hillary. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb.
I agree with hooger158. This ad draws such a sharp contrast between John McCain, who looks old and tired, lacks charisma, speaks ungrammatical English often reminiscent of Bush, and has flip-flopped on everything from oil drilling off the coast to even his signature issue of torture, and Barack Obama, who has such an inspiring biography and speaking style, that it works to Obama's benefit. Also, the fact that several commentators are shown saying "Obama" only detracts from the ad's ostensible point, since merely saying his last name does not indicate being in the tank for him. Whichever version of the ad makes it to TV, it can only hurt McCain.
