Though Fighting Behind Closed Doors, NBC and Dick Wolf Are Holding Hands in Public

If, somehow, the 88 episodes of Law & Order available each week across NBC Universal's spectrum of networks isn't enough for you, prepare for another Dick Wolf creation. NBC has greenlighted the producer's Lost and Found, "a drama about a slightly quirky female homicide detective who uses outside-the-box techniques to identify John and Jane Does—and then solve their murders." But, wait a second — don't NBC and Wolf hate each other? Yes, yes they do.

The two parties are still embroiled in legal wranglings over Law & Order, which is set to pump $750 million into Wolf's coffers when all is said and done, but that's still less than he thinks NBC owes him for the long-running, and never-ending, series.

NBC and Wolf have been in a legal tete-a-tete since 2005, bickering about who owes what, how much cash needs to be paid of a series ever gets canceled, and so forth. But NBC, in the hands of Ben Silverman, still finds itself without any traction from its new series, and once again must turn to Wolf for ratings and stability magic.

We have been following the career of Chris Levinson for some time now. Who is the creator of this new show. If Chris Levinson has anything to do with it is sure to be a hit!

Dick Wolf brought NBC the following dramas the past few years…"Conviction" and "Trial By Jury"…two mega-stiffs that tanked with audiences. And there were other Wolf pilots that were filmed that were never ordered to series because they were awful…one was a sitcom about a Greek family running a diner in Boston..gee when did Dick Wolf develop a sense of humor. As for "Lost and Found"…the "quirky" lead character is an attempt to bring "The Closer", "Monk"…to broadcast tv. Ben Silverman has nothing up his sleeve so he has to fall back on old Dick Wolf. It's obviously a desperate move by a desperate out of his league network head. Hey Ben..give Norman Lear a call I hear he's still breathing..and Producer Sherwood Schwarz from "The Brady Bunch" while your at it. Ben Silvermans producers are as old as his demo' audiences the average age being …deceased.
