Congratulations to TMZ.com maestra Gillian Sheldon, who just got engaged to boyfriend Tim Heckendorf. When we heard the news, we immediately touched base with the bride-to-be to hear how a TMZ-style engagement goes down. (That, and the ring bling, after the click.)
He was insistent on making me breakfast Saturday morning. At like 8:00. All I wanted was coffee, but I indulged him on his breakfast mission. Then he calls me into the kitchen to “help” him. He had inscribed underneath our island in the kitchen “Gillian will you marry me.” I saw it and turned around and there he was on one knee with a gor-GEOUS ring. SO so sweet. Then our friends (who all knew) were waiting down the street, they came over, we drank champagne and then we went to the Ritz where he had booked a suite for the night. Had dinner there and a ton more champagne. So much fun.
The best part? He had someone call Harvey and tell him not to call me in the a.m. so as not to be disturbed.
Now it’s just a question of finding a half hour that Harvey Levin will allow her off to have a wedding ceremony and honeymoon.
