Unsolicited John McCain Supporter Paris Hilton Introduces Own Energy Policy

"Miss Hilton was neither asked, nor did she give permission, for the use of her likeness in the ad, and has no further comment," Paris Hilton's rep said in a statement last week.

This week? She has further comment.

(And meanwhile, it wasn't McCain who first compared Obama to Hilton. It was Obama himself, in a 2005 WaPo article.)

Good for Paris Hilton–this is one of the smartest things she has done yet. Good for her! And she looks great in this video, has an actual presence, has a look of actual intelligence here, speaks clearly, and does a generally great job with this quick, relevant and timely project. Now, if anyone can channel what happened her to a movie role, she'll be on her way. Congrats to Paris Hilton for this well-done, wise piece of political parody!
