A free Toronto papers has fired all its staff writers and now is subsisting entirely on unpaid interns to do all the work. Which is a half-baked scheme if I ever heard one, but you know what? It might be just crazy enough to work. (It will never work, unless you consider the quality of your high school newspaper to be good enough for an entire city to read.)
