Was Heath Ledger Legally Prescribed Oxycontin and Vicodin?

heath_ledger28.jpg One doctor in Texas and another in California are under federal investigation for prescribing the painkillers Oxycontin and Vicodin to Heath Ledger, who died from what's likely an accidental overdosing by mixing medications. Authorities want to know whether the drugs were indeed legally prescribed. And in this era of docs prescribing Ambien because a patient couldn't get to sleep last night after a 2-day coke binge, questioning the doctors' legality in prescribing the drugs is like asking, "Was Heath capable of feeling the pain of a pin prick?"

He killed himself. He deserves all the credit. No one dragged him to those doctors' offices. No doctor called him on the phone, out of the blue and asked him if he wanted a prescription. AND, I'm betting that when the doc asked him what else he's on, he didn't volunteer a drug list. AND, I'm betting he did NOT get those prescriptions filled at the same pharmacy chain, where the computers are nationally linked up. So, sorry, this is all bullshit. He's about as guilty for his own death as John Beluschi.

People like you totally disgust me, acting like you are the pharmaceutical authority, are you an MD, do you hold any type of degree? did you know Heath? Were you friends with him? better yet were you there when he passed? I only hope that someone close to you never dies of an overdose accidental or otherwise, and if they do I pray your loved one is given more respect than what you've given to Heath- may he rest in peace…
