The movie Brokeback Mountain may have failed to permanently alter our country's perception of homosexuality, but that's what unnecessary sequels are for! Besides, there are – as always – two sides to every coin.

On the one hand, here's an obviously outdated video clip (Way to lose in the first round, Yankees!) of someone taunting the Bronx Bombers' captain with the clever chant "Brokeback Jeter." On the other hand, please note the fact that (a) he is clapping alone, and (b) someone off-camera yells "SHUT UP!" three-quarters of the way through.

Of course, that probably had more to do with general irritation than it did a dramatic public entreaty for same-sex equality, but whatevs.
