What's An Upper West Side Liberal To Do?
Bill Kristol Hits the American Punditry jackpot

You know what's hard? Having opinions about current events. Because not only do you need to, you know, read about current events, you also have to make judgments from objective information. Also, forming coherent opinions with rhetorical flair? That's the worse.

Fortunately, the New York Times has a staff of people they pay to think just for you. Too busy taking care of the husband and children to hate the Bush administration? Maureen Dowd can do it for you!

And now the Times has added neocon and former Time magazine writer Bill Kristol to their roster of professional opinion makers. People who believe in social liberalism will have no choice but to read his column and change their opinion. Because that's how Times columnists roll: They will rape you of your personal beliefs, and then make you email that rape to your friends and colleagues.

The Huffington Post says the move is "bound to create controversy." We say, one more article we can skip in the Times.
