Last night NBC News White House correspondent David Gregory premiered his new 6pm show Race for the White House, and welcomed the standard cache of MSNBC talking heads: Air America's Rachel Maddow, morning boy Chuck Scarborough, the Washington Post's Eugene Robinson, and NBC political director Chuck Todd.
Everyone's makeup looked fantastic. Even Scarborough's!
They talked about Barack Obama's race speech (which he gave today), the economy, and Florida not holding a re-vote.
Which brings us to the biggest question of the night: What's up with the color of Gregory's hair?
We've heard rumors he actually colors it to make himself look older and, thus, more respected. (He's a wee 37.)
But as recently as 2005 and 2006, his hair was blonde, though that looked dyed. By 2007, it was a much lighter grey. Today, it's almost entirely grey, with a touch of dark brown sprinkled throughout. But actually, it was sort of like that at one point in 2005 too.
What gives?

That is bizarrely chameleonic. I have a friend who turned entirely grey before she was 30; maybe that's what's going on with him. It looks much better if you just accept it.
That would be JOE Scarborough
My husband started going grey in his 20's.
Now he has a beautiful head of silver hair.
I think on TV the white hair might glare too much. I know I've heard people say they never wear white on TV for that reason.
Gregory might put a temporary rinse in his hair sometimes to cut the glare.
I think Chris Matthews does the same thing.
Matthews had dark hair when he was younger, now his hair looks blond,(more like yellow) sometimes blonder than other times.
I'm always staring at Dan Abrams hair, because I've heard he wears a hairpiece, but I can see his scalp along the part, so it does not look like a piece to me.
His hair color is weird also. He seems to have grey hair in patches some nights, and some nights not so much. Probably uses rinses also.
LOL, I always look at people's hair. I'm a hairdresser.
