What's Worse Than a Blogazine? A Half-Hearted Effort at a Blogazine

Remember when Bonnie Fuller thought it'd be a good idea to have her staff peaking out from the pages of Star to deliver unwitty commentary with bizarre facial expressions?

We've got something that's at least 38 percent as bad.

It's this month's Esquire editor's letter. In the May issue, David Granger appears to have given the art department the OK to draw circles around names mentioned in his missive and connect them back to their names in the masthead. Just like hyperlinks, but with an overarching nod to "Look at us! We're cool with Web 2.0!"
