Has Don Imus' big yapper ruined it for the rest of crazy right-wing pundits? 'Could be!' say a bunch of concerned conservatives at a reactionary panel dispute. And in the wake of Imus' less than voluntary exit, prominent Elephant party alarmists fear that potty-mouth Rush Limbaugh may be the next target of the FCC's Fairness Doctrine, or, as unbiased Republicans call it, "the Unfairness Doctrine," and "[the latest] weapon in a liberal jihad against the right wing's freedom of speech."
Panelist Ken Blackwell, formerly Ohio's secretary of state and the Republican candidate for governor last fall, said Imus was "not a conservative" and that "the left has sacrificed one of their own to give them a platform to go after true conservative talk show hosts." Cliff Kincaid, of the conservative media watchdog Accuracy in Media, said the Imus firing had been a revelation. "It wasn't exactly clear to me how [liberals] intended to bring back the Fairness Doctrine, but I think now with the Imus affair, we know … [And it's a] short leap from firing Imus to going after Rush Limbaugh."
Yes, but what does it all mean??
Well, according to Ken Blackewell, it means Imus was merely a sacrificial lamb, his firing a well-timed publicity stunt enacted as part of an intricate left-wing conspiracy to attack the misunderstood Rush Limbaughs and Ann "John Edwards is a faggot" Coulters of this world!
Of course, there is a remote chance that Imus simply made a career of being a politically incorrect loudmouth who finally got what he deserved. But that's about as convincing as Nancy Grace's opponents, who have heartlessly bashed the victims' rights activist for her unwavering belief that those Duke lacrossers are guilty until proven innocent.

Uhmm, Imus is a staunch liberal. He has nothing to do with "crazy right wing" talk shows as he isn't a conservative. Might want to do a little research next time you go spouting off tripe like this.
This is spot on.
Check out this guy's take: http://www.unboundedition.com/content/view/244/50/
Imus is a liberal? you've got to be kidding me
4gettaboutit…
Why do you think he's conservative?
-he supported Gore in 2000 (and had him on his show regularly)
-he supported Kerry in 2004 (and had him on his show regularly).
-Most of the news guests were a virtual "Who's Who" of the mainstream, LIBERAL elite.
So, WHY do you think he's conservative?
Fairness Doctrine? Fairness Doctrine?
Excuse me, but the FCC did away with that almost a decade ago.
There is still the Equal Time law but that only applies to bona fide candidates for public office.
So the radical right throws another red herring into the mix.
Fairness doctrine? Who mentioned the fairness doctrine on this board?
BTW- are Al, Jessie, and Rosie the "Radical Left"? Just wondering.
Forget Imus. If this movement silences rap and their videos, gets rid of Rush and Ann Coulter, I"m all for it!
Very "tolerant" of you, h…
Typical White Liberal.
There is a way to use a single sheet of TP. I learned this technique while in the military. Fold sheet into quarters(two folds). Gently tear a small piece of the folded corner off. Save the corner. Open the single sheet and place finger through the hole and slide sheet down to knuckle. Clean your business with the finger. Then slide TP back over finger and dispose of spent TP. Use the saved piece of torn corner to clean under the finger tail. It works!!!!!
Imus was anything but a "Liberal" the guy critisized the left every day. Imus was in fact a registered Republican…sounds like the people on the above mentioned panel were typical Republicans who didn't have their facts straight.
As for Nancy Grace, she deserved every bit of criticisim she got and more, the author of this entire article is an obvious idiot. As for Limbaugh, he should be fired becuase he is a fat loser, not for his moronic opinions.
