Why Hardball’s Team Isn’t Sweating Chris Matthews’ Possible Exit

racewhitehouse.jpgchrismatthews.jpg

With all our talk about Chris Matthews losing his job to David Gregory when the 5pm anchor’s $2m/year contract is up next year (if Phil Griffin has his way), one might think Matthews’ current band of merry crew members might be worried about losing their jobs.

Not the case, says one insider.

Matthews’ current team expects to piggybacked onto David Gregory’s show when he suits up as the network’s big boy next year.

No word whether the transition would include Matthews producer exec John Reiss, especially given 30 Rock’s tendency to involve NBC News veterans in MSNBC’s biz to save costs.

After all, when Gregory transitioned from White House correspondent to MSNBC show host, Today show producer Noah Oppenheim (a former Hardball producer) was given the double duty of running Race to the White House as well as NBC’s 7am hour.

The best thing that has happened to MSNBC recently is the addition of David Gregory and Race to the White House. A tie with that fete, and ranking above, would be to replace Chris Matthews with Gregory. Both Matthews and Olbermann have overstayed their welcome, and each day they continue is a blow to MSNBC. Joe Scarborough and his show are in line with the reputation MSNBC once had. Now, everyone is changing to Fox News where — BELIEVE IT OR NOT — they are not as caustic and downright insulting as the above two people. SO MR. PHIL GRIFFIN; GET RID OF MATTHEWS AND OLBERMANN BEFORE THEY DAMAGE MSNBC AND NBC PERMANENTLY. They are truly insulting and nobody watches them any more.

Chris Matthews continues to be an embarassment - he should just resign now and go to “work” for the Obama campaign - although staying on Hardball gives him a free pro-Obama outlet. Keith Olbermann has gone over the edge. He’s gone from informative to mildly amusing to downright pathetic in the past year. Really, do we have to hear the anti-O’Reilly rant EVERY SINGLE EPISODE??? I mean c’mon - move on Keith - you’re getting paid a shitload of money - you don’t always have to be a freaking moron.
I’ll even give MSNBC another shot once they get rid of that blowhard Matthews.

Hillary Clinton are all about Hillary Clinton and for that reason she will intentionally continue to deepen the racial divide in our country because she whole heartily believes that hard working white blue collar workers will not support a black democratic nominee. The reason, she feel so strongly about his assertion that she and her ethic group will not support a black democratic nominee is for the following reasons, 1) The Clinton’s whole heartily will not support a black candidate because she think they are superior to other ethic groups and that white house belongs to white people only 2) Racism is alive and well in America and has been a key element of her campaigned strategy. Consequently, this is why she has never openly addressed the race issue in America or within her own campaign because she is a prime beneficiary of her continued racial divisive campaign because she knows that there are more whites in America than any other ethic group combine. Therefore; since the numbers are on her side for political gain, she will exploit this to divide to her advantage all the while deepening the racial divisions in America. What a shame? 3) All signs indicate that the Clintons have played the race card throughout the democratic campaign all along without the media scrutinizing her deliberate racial divisive positions. 4) Her continuance to stay in the campaign for the democratic nomination has nothing to do with her winning the nomination because any sensible American knows that mathematically it’s impossible.

Her ultimate goal is to create such racial division within the Democratic Party that it will be so deep that Barrack Obama will have to work extremely hard to unite the party in an order to win the presidential nomination. But he has the intellectual and character makeup to bring unity and harmony to the American People and the Clinton’s are vehemently on promoting racism and sexism in America.

In conclusion, the only reason she won the vast majority of white voters in Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Ohio, Texas, and West Virginia is because the geographic makeup perfectly aligns with the Clintons racially motivated campaign strategy. The Clinton’s need to take some racial sensitivity classes and learn to respect all ethic groups instead of deploying racial divisive tactics in American politics. How can she claim she is for all the people when the Clintons have focus primarily on seeking hard working blue collar white class voters while all other ethic groups are secondary to her campaign strategy? Why can’t her campaign strategy be all inclusive like Barack Obama?

Matthews and Olbermann are both two idiots of the highest level. I used to watch MSNBC every day but ever since the beginning of the Demo primary, it became clear that these two were simply fools for Obama, and every ounce of obective commentary was out the window. Matthews’ panting and Olbermann’s ranting are so over the top. I’ll watch Morning Joe just to see Joe put Mika the Obama lover in her place. For the rest of the day, I’ll watch FNC. I think O’Reilly is really fair and balanced, and Hannity at least is open and honest about his bias. MSNBC is full of self-rightous pseudo-journalists. Edward R. Murrow must be turning in his grave every night at 8 and 10 pm.
