Why is the Liberal Media Offering John McCain Coffee and Donuts?
In that Saturday Night Live sketch, Barack Obama may have been offered a pillow by his debate moderators, but John McCain was offered donuts with sprinkles. In real life.
At the American Society of Newspaper Editors annual meeting yesterday, moderators Ron Fournier and Liz Sidoti, of the Associated Press, offered McCain a selection of sweets, as well as coffee with cream and sugar. Oh, and a standing ovation. From a room full of reporters.
Guess who didn't receive similar treatment?
Barack Obama. When it was time for the Democrat, who was treated to being called "Osama," to have his turn to be peppered with questions, the audience remained seated. And he wasn't asked whether he preferred chocolate or glazed.

Maria I think that question was tongue-in-cheek. I'd say the concern is more about why McCain was applauded while Obama was again mixed up with Osama Bin Laden.
