Newscasters with faces for analog fret

While we enjoy HD-TV for close-ups on Tom Brady during football season, not every television personality is blessed with his rugged good looks. And the less physically charming ones worry that HD-TV will reveal what their sabotaging mothers knew along: They’re not attractive.

Yolanda Vazquez, a news anchor for Maryland Public Television, fears she might be a little fugly in HD, “If you've got a new pimple or a stray hair, it's obvious,” she said. "[It’s] like you're not in 3-D, but in 15-D."

Damn, Yolanda. You just blew our minds. Counting time, we can only imagine four dimensions. Here's hoping the space-continuum still works in 15th dimension.
