The Daily Show was back last night, which was a huge relief for those of us trying to get a chuckle out of watching the regular news. And it started with a bang: Anderson Cooper moderating a doggie debate. Anderson Cooper could be moderating the phone book debate and I'd still watching, so the puppies were just an added bonus!

Is Kathy Griffin's comedic styling rubbing off on Anderson Cooper? He's turning into a real wise-cracking political pupdit with a lot of bite.

I vote the Obama's get a Gold Standard Retriever (to symbolically ground the White House budget or maybe as collateral to back Sasha and Malia's lunch money) and name it Owe'n as a metaphor of the current US economy.
